Chris Crawford

Mr. Crawford has more than 25 years of corporate governance consulting and strategic compensation experience advising over 500 public, private and not-for-profit organizations. 

Over the past 25 years, Mr. Crawford led his prior consulting firm as co-founder and President. The firm received several awards such as Best Places to Work in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine for 10 years (twice ranked number one), The Top Consultancies in the US by Consulting Magazine, and America’s Top Management Consultancies by Forbes Magazine. That firm was successfully sold in 2020.

Mr. Crawford has been the technical contributor to five books on compensation, co-author of three books on compensation, as well as the author and feature contributor to over 200 articles on strategic compensation matters. He’s recognized nationally as an expert in the compensation field and has served on a number of boards and advisory boards, including several private companies, a university college of business, and several nonprofit organizations.

Over the past 25 years, Mr. Crawford has served as a faculty trainer, faculty member, author, curriculum contributor, and a board advisor for WorldatWork, which is the leading accrediting body of compensation and benefit professionals in the U.S. As a result of Mr. Crawford’s significant experience in the boardroom, courtroom, and classroom, as well as the numerous accolades received by his firm, he brings a fresh, honest perspective to the ever-changing corporate environment.
